A New Day Dawning

The sunrises in Yorktown, Virginia are spectacular. As the magnificent sun ascended from below the horizon and took its place in the sky, I joined some fellow photographers for a sunrise photo shoot at Riverwalk Landing along the York River. We witnessed and welcomed the recurring miracle of the sunrise with awe and thankfulness. It was indeed the dawning of a new day.

I am a nature and wildlife photographer who traversed the world for two decades before residing in the beautiful state of Virginia to spend my time capturing wonderful images of egrets, blue heron, glorious sunsets and other scenes that touch my heart.
