This scene was the culmination of a gorgeous day at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown, VA as I dined with a dear old friend reminiscing about our enduring and wonderful friendship that has span nearly forty years. As we sat, ate and sipped red wine, two schooners with their sails at full mast passed under the Coleman Bridge. As they cleared the bridge, a beautiful rainbow appeared to the right of the schooners.
We smiled and raised our glasses to friendship and sisterhood. My friend has this framed image in her home to remind her of a lovely day well spent in Yorktown, VA with an old friend.
