Today, I wrote the poem, I Soar, to accompany the soaring egret's image. This image reminded me of freedom, calmness, accomplishment, serenity and lightness of spirit.

I am a nature and wildlife photographer who traversed the world for two decades before residing in the beautiful state of Virginia to spend my time capturing wonderful images of egrets, blue heron, glorious sunsets and other scenes that touch my heart.
