The Mabry Mill stands in picturesque setting beside a narrow two-lane road along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd County, Virginia. It is one of the most photographed attractions on the parkway. It makes a wonderful picture in all seasons. I prefer to photograph the old mill during the fall when it is framed by bold and colorful autumn foliage.
