Description
Sugar Loops sounds like a moniker for a sailor’s sweetheart or a sugary breakfast cereal, but it is the name of a fast and flashy yellow fishing motor boat in Island Harbour in Anguilla in the British West Indies. Sugar Loops, was moored on a Saturday evening in the harbour after a day of fishing by its captain and crew.
Island Harbour is one of Anguilla's fishing villages. It is a quiet beauty and is home to generations upon generations of Anguillan fishing families. In the early morning hours, the harbor is teems with small fishing vessels ranging from row boats to high speed motor engines all leaving the harbour to fish the waters for fish, lobsters, crabs and other crustaceans. Sugar Loops caught my eyes with its screaming yellow color against the backdrop of the blue and turquoise waters of the Caribbean in the British West Indies.
