When I was a kid growing up in rural Virginia, the most exciting part of the day was running to the mail box to get the letters and other correspondences.

Nowadays, most of us communicate electronically relegating the old mailboxes to yesterday’s relics. Today, the mailboxes alongside the road are mostly full of junk mail and advertisements.

I am a nature and wildlife photographer who traversed the world for two decades before residing in the beautiful state of Virginia to spend my time capturing wonderful images of egrets, blue heron, glorious sunsets and other scenes that touch my heart.
