During the spring, the Great Blue Herons gather in abundance by the James River to fish the waters for carp fish. Unfortunately, some days when the fish are not swimming upriver, the herons spend their time watching the water and preening their feathers.

I am a nature and wildlife photographer who traversed the world for two decades before residing in the beautiful state of Virginia to spend my time capturing wonderful images of egrets, blue heron, glorious sunsets and other scenes that touch my heart.
